The Meaning Behind Our Three Peaks
Peak 21 was inspired by two sisters and the special bond they share. When one of them was born with Down syndrome, it gave our family a new perspective on challenges, milestones, differences and the importance of having people beside you on the journey.
The three mountains in our Peak 21 design have a special meaning too.
Down syndrome is caused by extra genetic material from chromosome 21, which inspired the name Peak 21 and our three peaks.
Our three peaks represent those three copies of chromosome 21 — turning the genetics behind our story into a symbol of something much bigger.
The mountains also represent the different journeys we all experience. Some may be steeper, some may take a little longer to climb, and sometimes we need a helping hand along the way. What matters isn't how quickly you reach the top, but that every milestone and every achievement deserves to be celebrated.
For us, the bond between two sisters captures exactly what Peak 21 stands for — supporting one another, celebrating our differences and climbing together.
Every mountain is different. Every journey matters. Climb Together.
